Pilates training in combination with body work has the potential to heal and strengthen the body in a remarkable way. The fundamental principle of pilates is to strengthen the "core", yet, it's a full body exercise. The movements are precise and controlled and they always start from the core. We use apparatus that will help the body to move in correct alignment to prevent re- injury and to assure that different muscle groups are working equally hard. With the support, or resistance, of springs, the body will get stronger and more flexible. We can also target different muscle groups, but the whole body is always engaged to provide support for the movement of a specific limb or muscle.

*The "core" involves hips, buttocks, and torso.
